Management
The current management structure of Golf Tourism Scotland consists of:
The Executive Board - elected by the members at the AGM.
The Board is chaired by Gary Wilkinson of Fife based golf tour operators Wilkinson Golf and Leisure. The Company Secretary is Jamie Gardner of Adventures in Golf in St. Andrews
The Executive Board was appointed at the AGM on 31st October 2007 at Fairmont St Andrews to represent each membership category. As of December 11th 2007, the board consists of the following businesses and their represented individuals:
- Kevin Fish, Glen Golf Club, North Berwick
- Derek Mortimer, Murcar Links, Aberdeen
- Luke Borwick, Blair Estate, Ayrshire
- Jamie Gardner, Adventures In Golf (Company Secretary)
- Gary Wilkinson, Wilkinson Golf and Leisure (Chairman)
- Roy Anderson, McLaren Travel
- Nick Hunter, Niche Marketing & Training
- Nick White, The Inn at Lathones, Fife
- Lee Derrick - De Vere Cameron house
- Fraser Cromarty - Castle Stuart
The above board will run the affairs of Golf Tourism Scotland until the next AGM in 2009. They will then be eligible for re-election according to rotation, along with other nominations from the membership.
Golf Tourism Scotland is currently being adminstered on a part time project basis from offices in Ayrshire by Ian McCaig. This role includes management of projects, accounting and communications.
